Learn Beekeeping from an Expert!

There's a special joy that comes from teaching others how to do what you feel is important. Furthering the cause of the honeybee is something Gregory Fariss has felt led to do for many years. Each year, Greg volunteers his time to teach a five week Beginning Beekeeping course for Davie County Beekeepers Association. His payment is seeing new beekeepers starting and continuing on the journey that many of us know as beekeeping.

Greg's easy manner combined with his knowledge of honeybees and how they live has enabled him to teach countless students through short courses in several states over many years. Classes have included students as young as seven on up to senior citizens. An interest in bees knows no age barrier.
